The Kentucky Rose Accommodations

Premier Kentucky wedding venue

Carriage House

This cozy Carriage House was exactly that – a barn for the horse drawn carriages during the time the home was built. This space has been transformed into a quaint little one-bedroom cottage (additional guests can sleep on a pullout couch if needed). It has been fully renovated with a new kitchen, updated bathroom, living room, and loft bedroom, assessable by a winding staircase. The Carriage House has it’s own patio area with an outdoor dining area.

The Courtyard

The mutual courtyard is an oasis that is shared by the three structures. It is a private green space in the middle of the city, that features a large patio area. There are beautiful flowers and benches and fountains to create a private entertaining space for the wedding party and guests.

Parsonage House

This fully renovated 4 bedroom house was built in 1900, so it has all the original beauty and charm of that era, with amazing carved woodwork, stain glass windows, many original fixtures and pocket doors. The home was turned into a duplex during the mid-1900’s. The current renovation retained elements of the duplex, but joined the two floors together on the interior.

Each floor has it’s own kitchen (fully stocked) and bathroom, as well as separate entrances. This unique arrangement allows for multiple groups to share the space but retain elements of privacy. The space was designed to accommodate groups inside and outside! There is a two-story back deck as well as a patio area for gatherings.

This space opens up to a spacious courtyard that is shared by the adjoining Church. Also for entertaining, there is a gas grill, a gas fire pit and a wood fire pit for cozy evenings.

“The Kentucky Rose was everything we could have asked for in a wedding venue.”

“ Annie was so accommodating and helped bring our dreams to reality. Old Louisville is one of the most historical and beautiful areas in Louisville, and what Annie and her team have done to preserve the church and leave its historical charm, is truly a blessing to the neighborhood. The hidden gems at the Kentucky Rose, it's beautifully unique design elements, and the lovely exterior, create an idyllic background for wedding photographs. We loved that we were able to still have the pastor of our church marry us in this beautiful setting.”
